Canon XA-10
On the XLR controls arm, both ATT switches should be ON. The second switch should be switched to EXT. The volume switches can be adjusted as needed, but always start at 0. The CH1 and CH2 switches should be on MIC for use with the Azden's since they do to require phantom power.
In 'M' mode, open the flip screen and touch FUNC > MENU and scroll all the way to the bottom to the XLR Rec Channel and make sure it is on CH1. A pair of audio monitors will display on the flip screen showing -dB level (only in M mode).
