Opening Procedures
Computers/Printers
*Circulation Computers (turn on monitors and enter passwords)
- Select the CLERK user
- Enter password (xxxxx)
- Press enter
- Turn on both printers on circulation desk. When printers are ready two green lights will be switch on.
*Catalog Computer (turn monitor and tower on, enter passwords).
- The PAC (public access catalog) is connected to the
- Library’s local area network. The PAC is located with the Child computers.
*Internet Computers
- Turn on towers and monitors.
- All Adult internet computers are located directly in front of the circ desk, one children’s computer, it is in the juvenile section, to the far right of the main entrance along with two teen internet computers. There is also a child computer located beside the PAC computer.
- All Internet stations are linked to a printer that is located at the circulation desk.
- Any printed articles should be picked up at the desk and a charge of 10 cents per page will be assessed for the copies, after the first 10 pages are received for free.
